Three weeks after their publicly confirmed separation, Wilson Coenen is discussing the reasons. In an RTL interview, he describes a relationship in which both repeatedly found they were no longer making each other happy and could not find a suitable solution.

Good days and bad days

Wilson Coenen and Dana Feist jointly announced their split in early October. During a public appearance around “Fame Fighting”, Wilson has now described how he is coping. He speaks of mixed feelings and says the separation is not easy for him.

He does not attribute it to one individual incident. Instead, he describes a recurring situation: both had reached a point where they were no longer making each other happy and had not found the right way to resolve it. He is explaining the separation from his perspective without publicly assigning responsibility to Dana.

Sport, friends and family provide support

Wilson says he is trying to look ahead and do things he enjoys, including sport and spending time with friends and family. Major new projects are not his current priority. He describes his present aim as peace of mind.

The couple began their relationship in February 2025. Both became known through reality programmes; Wilson has appeared in “Love Island VIP”, among other shows. The current season is editorially separate from their private separation.
