Sommerhaus der Stars 2026: Nico and Laura leave voluntarily in episode 9

Nico Legat and Laura Parrinello’s participation in “Das Sommerhaus der Stars” 2026 ends early in episode 9. RTL confirms that pain in Laura’s calf prevented her from taking part in the next game. The couple then decided to leave voluntarily. Episode 9 has been available on RTL+ since 20 October. RTL’s schedule gives its television broadcast as 27 October at 20:15 German time.

Why Nico and Laura leave

The game “Ich komm nicht Leiter” would have required the couples to climb rope ladders. According to RTL’s report of 20 October, Laura could barely put weight on her leg because of the calf pain. Nico and Laura therefore did not compete and told the other residents they were leaving. The broadcaster does not give a medical diagnosis in the report.

The departure comes shortly before the final. RTL describes other couples’ doubts about the reasons as reactions from fellow residents; those reactions are not evidence against Laura’s symptoms. The already available ninth episode shows what the departure means for the remaining couples.

Their participation remains in both profiles

Nico and Laura appeared in season 11. Their season links and the 15 participation points each already recorded at RSHOF therefore remain. A voluntary departure does not remove points for a verified appearance. The season page will show their confirmed departure status.
