Sommerhaus episode 5 brings two important decisions: Anna and Tano, followed by Michelle Daniaux and Sandro, win protection from nomination. No couple leaves in this episode. Julian F. M. Stoeckel and Marcell Damaschke arrive as late entrants, while Anita and Fabrice face pressure in the mood barometer.
Spoiler notice: This archive report covers the position after episode 5 of season 11. The episode became available on RTL+ on September 22, 2026. Its German free-to-air broadcast was scheduled for September 29 at 8:15 p.m. German time.
Anna and Tano win “Perlen vor die Säue”
The first game tests German language skills and concentration. The couples have to thread lettered beads and form suitable nouns. According to SWP’s contemporary episode report of September 22, Anna and Tano collect the most correct letters. Their win protects them from the next nomination.
That protection changes the options available to the other couples. When they cast their votes, they cannot simply choose the protected duo as their target in that decision. Winning the game therefore provides an advantage in the next round, but it does not establish how the season will eventually end.
Michelle and Sandro also secure protection
The second challenge is called “Tischlein deck dich”. It combines questions with unusual dishes: a wrong answer leads to an eating task. For late entrants Julian and Marcell, the competition begins at this game before they have a chance to settle into the house. RTL’s official clip of their first challenge also shows this arrival.
Michelle Daniaux and Sandro win the challenge. A second couple is now protected from the next nomination alongside Anna and Tano. Both decisions relate to the same next stage of the competition; neither establishes a place in the final.
The mood barometer puts Anita and Fabrice under pressure
Anita and Fabrice receive the most votes in the subsequent mood barometer. This interim result shows which couple several competitors are targeting at that moment. It is not a completed elimination vote. By the end of this episode, it remains open whether the following decision will produce that nomination.
Julian and Marcell’s arrival also expands the group in the house. New participants bring additional votes and new opportunities for agreements. The established alliances therefore also have to work out where they stand in relation to the late-arriving couple.
There is no further departure after episode 5
Nobody leaves the Sommerhaus in this episode. At this stage, Michael Naseband and Shelly have been eliminated after episode 3, while Vanessa Neigert and Giovanni Weisheit have left voluntarily in episode 4. The mood barometer is not treated here as another departure or as a final season placing.
For RSHOF’s records, a game win, protection from nomination and the eventual season result remain distinct. This episode does not establish a new final placing. The season guide, Sommerhaus special and show page connect this report with the documented couples and further coverage.
