Der Promihof 2026: Kate, Teddy and the cast’s previous reality connections
Kate Merlan, Jennifer Iglesias, Christina Dimitriou and other cast members arrive with years of reality television history.

After two episodes on RTL+, the 2026 “Promihof” is already showing how differently its residents approach life on the farm. The cast also brings a history that extends far beyond this season. Kate Merlan, Jennifer Iglesias, Matthias Mangiapane, Christina Dimitriou and Vanessa Nwattu appeared in other reality shows before arriving. We explain their documented connections without treating the cast list as proof of future alliances or conflicts.
Kate Merlan brings Teddy and plenty of reality experience
Kate Merlan is one of the season’s most experienced faces. Her RTLZWEI profile lists “Newtopia”, “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”, “Kampf der Realitystars”, “The 50” and “Die Abrechnung”, among other shows. The broadcaster also announced that Kate would bring a teddy bear to the farm. The identity of the person inside the costume is officially still unknown. Her announced strategy is to be underestimated at first and step things up later. The episodes will show whether that works in everyday life on the farm.
The documented link between Christina and Vanessa
Christina Dimitriou and Vanessa Nwattu are appearing together on camera again in “Der Promihof”. Their shared history goes back to “Temptation Island VIP”: Vanessa took part as a single and began a relationship with Christina’s then partner Aleks Petrovic. RTLZWEI confirms this background. It does not, by itself, establish a dispute or alliance in season 2. How the two interact on the farm should be assessed through scenes actually shown.
Jennifer already has a reality win
Jennifer Iglesias became known through “Love Island”, which she won with Nico Müller in 2022. An RTLZWEI winners’ interview documents that result. The Promihof is not her first television experience: the broadcaster also lists “Promi Big Brother”, “Are You The One – Realitystars in Love”, “Love Island VIP” and “The 50”. A previous victory does not predict the outcome on the farm, where farm rules, group dynamics and challenges decide the game.
Matthias, Julia and Kevin: other paths to the same show
Matthias Mangiapane and Julia Römmelt also know the reality business from several productions. RTLZWEI lists “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”, “Promi Big Brother” and “The 50” for Matthias, and “Beauty and the Nerd”, “The 50”, “Most Wanted” and “Are You The One – Realitystars in Love” for Julia. Kevin Njie, whose arrival alongside Julia and newcomer Vanessa Brahimi adds movement to the opening episodes, previously appeared in “Too Hot To Handle: Germany”, “Fame Fighting” and “Are You The One – Realitystars in Love”, according to RTLZWEI. The game will determine which experiences help on the farm.
Where the season stands
RTL+ has carried the first two episodes of season 2 since 22 October 2026. RTLZWEI broadcasts them on 29 October from 22:15 German time. The starting jackpot is €100,000. The day-two balance supplied to RSHOF by its editorial team is €52,000; we currently have no independent broadcaster confirmation of that exact daily figure. We are therefore not giving a day-three amount yet. The season page records the ongoing season, full cast and further episodes, while the show page covers its background.
