Winning “Promi Big Brother” 2026 was also a physical challenge for Maurice Dziwak. Speaking to Joyn after the final, he describes his injured hand as the hardest moment of his time on the show. At one stage, he feared it would force him to quit.

The finger injury overshadowed his route to the final

Maurice injured a finger during a game and underwent surgery. He told Joyn that concern about potentially having to leave weighed more heavily on him than sleep deprivation or the living conditions. He says other residents supported him after the operation.

The broadcaster’s report confirms his fears at the time, rather than an actual withdrawal. Maurice stayed in the competition and beat Axel Schulz in the final on 19 October. SAT.1 reported that he received 59.17% of the winning vote.

What Maurice plans to do with the prize money

Maurice also speaks openly about the €100,000 prize. He primarily wants to give something back to his parents and, according to Joyn, is considering a shared multi-generational home or helping them move. He also expressed a wish to support an animal shelter and people in need. These are his plans after winning; the source does not report that payments have already been made.

Maurice and the new RSHOF number one

His PBB success also took Maurice to number one in the RSHOF ranking. This new account of his time in the house adds to our final coverage: behind his victory was uncertainty over whether he could continue with the injured hand at all.
