Joey Heindle and Marc Terenzi describe a fire in Thailand. After filming The Power, the two stayed in the country together. During an evening outing, they say they stopped at a burning farmhouse with a hotel employee and helped put out the fire. Joyn summarized their account on October 26. This report about Joey and Marc in Thailand consequently concerns an experience outside the ongoing reality-TV season.

Joey and Marc in Thailand: An outing takes an unexpected turn

According to Joyn’s official report, Joey Heindle and Marc Terenzi spent approximately another week in Thailand after filming ended. One evening, they went out with an employee of their hotel. They say they noticed a burning farmhouse. A distressed woman was standing outside, while an adjoining field and a tree had also caught fire, according to their account.

The description comes from statements by the two participants, which Joyn relays with attribution to Bild. Joey describes flames of considerable height. The men say they decided to stop and help rather than continue driving. The broadcaster’s article therefore presents their personal recollection of the evening, rather than a challenge arranged for The Power.

A hose, buckets, and approximately an hour of work

In the account reproduced by Joyn, they joined the hotel employee in using the means available at the scene. They applied water with a hose and buckets. Marc describes a stressful situation: the helpers were full of adrenaline and initially doubted whether they could control the fire. They say they succeeded after approximately an hour.

The central element of their account is cooperation in an unexpected situation. It involves several helpers and improvised means on site. Joyn does not provide an official emergency-service report, an exact damage estimate, or a complete list of everyone involved. Those details are consequently not inferred from the reported duration or the description of the flames.

Joey refers to his firefighting experience

Joey connects the decision to help with his previous training. Joyn reports that he joined a volunteer fire service in Switzerland in 2019 and trained as an emergency medical responder in 2021. He says, in essence, that he would not have forgiven himself for simply driving past the burning house.

According to the report, helping was not entirely without consequences: Joey apparently burned a toe. The account is not used to infer the severity of the injury or whether further treatment was needed. Nor does it establish a general recommendation for people to enter a fire themselves. It describes what those involved said about this particular evening.

An encounter after filming, rather than a new competition result

Joey and Marc are both members of the officially confirmed second-season cast. Joyn’s The Power page introduces them alongside the other players. Within the program, daily life instead revolves around concealed power: one person secretly takes on the Power Player role and tries to hide that identity from the group.

At the end of a game week, the Power Player can nominate someone to leave. Under the format’s rules, the nominated participant has an opportunity to identify the person holding secret power and reverse the elimination. Deception, clues, and changing alliances therefore shape the competition. The reported assistance at the farmhouse takes place after that production, according to the men’s account.

An outing together after production consequently establishes neither who wins a particular round nor how long either man remains in the villa. The RSHOF show guide collects the existing season information. Conflicts inside the game are covered separately, including the report about Simon, Cecilia, and Lisha. This article focuses on the experience the two men described afterward.
